Introduction
Daily
Each day is filled with choices
How many choices do you make each day?
The human mind is an expert juggler. Why? Because the average adult juggles between 33,000 to 35,000 decisions each day. A few of the many decisions presented to your subconscious person (also known as your Will) are:
“Will I eat breakfast?”
“Will I pay the rent that’s due?”
“What shall I do to relax this evening ?
Our brains would short-circuit if we had to weigh more than
30,000 decisions one by one.
How do you make the best choice?
Some decisions require a simple yes or no. Other decisions require us to think and evaluate possible scenarios.
We all like to think we are doing what is right. How do we know the long-term impact of the choices we make today?
Ask Yourself
What standard do you hold
yourself to when choosing a path?
Decisions
Weigh the Consequences of your choices
How can you determine the outcome?
Have you stopped to consider the consequences of your decision?
What could be one negative result?
What could be one positive result?
Keep adding possible outcomes to both positive and negative until you run out of options.
Which side is weightier?
Are there more pros than cons?
How do you know when you have considered most of the likely consequences? That would be the time phone a wise friend and discuss the situation.. After you have weighed all the possible outcomes, it is critical to add one final component. You want to be sure to consider the feelings of those who matter to you.
You might be asking yourself, “Why do others matter so much? Because the LORD designed humans to be in relationship with each other.Being alone can be lonely and frightening. Our decisions should be balanced by an authority that we willingly obey.
Trusted Counselors
It is good to consult those we trust who have expertise and experience in an area. It makes good sense to restrain our desires because of the expectation of predictable negative outcomes. However, the choice is yours. Your Will is the part of yourself who makes the final decision.
It is best practice to follow good advice. Why? Because going down the wrong path can be costly both financially and emotionally. The wrong path would be the one with too many negative consequences.
A wise person once told me,
“There are 2 ways to learn:
1.) from your own mistakes and
2.) from the mistakes of others.”
If you can learn from the mistakes of others and not repeat them yourself, You will save yourself a lot of heartache. That’s why LORD God wrote down the stories in the Bible as examples and guides for good living.
Listen to the story of the end of Samson’s life. He did not listen to his family and trusted advisors. He went his own way and did not consider the negative consequences of his actions. What happened to Samson?
Samson and Delilah
Ask yourself:
“Am I teachable?”
“Am I willing to learn and grow?”
If not, “What am I doing instead?”
Devotions
Shape your thoughts with
self-control
Self-Control is Goodness
Your value system and philosophy towards life will ultimately determine the choices you make. Most daily decisions are made without lots of thought. The subconscious mind influences your actions and feelings. How you respond to any situation will be a result of your past thinking.
Thus, in order to make right decisions, your conscience requires reinforcements. You must feed good food to your subconscious mind. If you expect a positive outcome, it is important to put good ideas, opinions, values, and morals in your heart and mind. This will help you when you are called upon to make a choice.
3D Devotions are designed to help you focus on the Holy Scriptures for guidance in “The Way” that is sure-footed. The New Covenant of the Judeo-Christian Bible tells us that Jesus is “The Way”. That means when we follow His instructions for life, we are obeying “The Way” of His Father in heaven. Trust that the Creator of the Universe knows best how to guide His creation on life and living. His mercies are new every day.
Loving God’s Word Brings Success Today and Forever
Everyone likes immediate gratification, but patience is a virtue. It only takes a change of mind to enjoy positive long-term outcomes along with pleasure in the moment. It is not an either/or choice. You can have both. It can be thought of as having your cake and eating it too.
Worship the Word of God by believing and heeding its wisdom and wonder. 3D Worship: Daily Decisions, Devotions are designed to point your Self and your Will to a higher and Supreme source of knowledge and understanding. We will consider everyday choices for adults and find inspiration from the Holy Scriptures on how to apply devotion to His Word to your decisions.
With your mind meditating daily on God’s viewpoint, His thoughts will become your thoughts. As you put your trust in Him, His standard becomes your standard. You can’t go wrong with that.

Lean Into Him
When Yeshua spoke to his followers he used stories and real life situations to which the people could relate. He used these stories to spark their curiosity and cause them to Lean Into Him for a closer look. They asked questions and searched their hearts to find their connection with God’s holiness within themselves.

Lean Into Him
Daily Decisions Devotions are the three D’s (3D) of worship. When we choose to season our thoughts with the Word of God, we are putting the King of the Universe first in our subconscious. Our hearts, our minds, our will, and our intuition is mixed with the Will of the LORD. Choosing YES to God requires our Decision.
How do we “season our thoughts”? We put the Word of God in front of our eyes; we meditate on it day and night. We apply it to every decision we make. Without reading and understanding and loving God’s Word, we cannot make decisions with His Will. Spending time in the Word of God is Devotion.
Applying God’s Word to every decision is not by accident. It is practical; it’s intentional; it’s on purpose. Your will must bow down your will in humble submission to the Will of the Father in heaven. This is easy, when you agree with the Father. Obeying the Word of God happens Daily, one decision at a time.
