There was no written New Testament in the days after Jesus was crucified. Disciples of Christ found the promised Messiah in the Old Testament and compared the Holy Scriptures to the work of Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified Savior.

Jesus, himself, helped his disciples believe in the Old Testament prophesies about himself. He walked alongside the two who traveled from the crucifixion on the Emmaus Road. And Jesus does the same for his disciples today. When revealed to your spirit by the Holy Spirit, your trust and belief in Jesus the Messiah will strengthen.

Hear the word from the new testament:

“And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He (the resurrected Christ) expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” (Luke 24:27)

The Emmaus Road course guides you to key Old Testament prophecies about the promised Savior and matches them up to New Testament fulfillment. Jesus is the Anointed One, the promised Messiah. His coming was prophesied by the Creator in the stars and by the Old Testament prophets.
