I weigh 376 pounds and need gastric bypass surgery. My surgery is scheduled for November 1, 2018. Up until now I have lived my life the way I wanted. I am a grown adult, and no one can tell me what to eat. This attitude has led to the situation I face today. I’m having kidney failure. I’m on dialysis. I need my name put on a kidney donor list.
However, my name will not be added to the kidney donor list until I lose at least 100 lbs. I should have done something long ago, but I thought I could do whatever I wanted to do with no consequences, because I was grown.
