The Power of Choice
created Adam as the first man from the dust of the earth. These first characters on stage in the garden, disobeyed God by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This tendency to disobey God and follow SELF came from free will. God gave humans a free will to choose whom they would obey.
THE POWER OF CHOICE
It is this choice which opens the door for sin to enter the human heart. Adam was created perfect; however, he used his choice to reject his Creator. The ability to choose resides with the will of man, and LORD God understands that the human will has a disobedient nature. Rather than choose good, the human character makes the wrong choice.
Because of Adam’s rebellious inclination, all his children are born with this same tendency. At birth, all humans are descendants from the seed of the first Adam and his woman, Eve. Their spiritual bodies are born into the world dead to the Holy Spirit. Their human nature separates them from the Divine nature.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
1Co 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
But God has not left mankind to flounder through life without a relationship with his Maker. God sent His Son, the “last Adam”, from heaven down to earth to save the human race from sin and death.
Through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ~Romans 8:2
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
Elohim designed the spirit within man to seek worship. Like a baby rooting for it’s mother’s teat, all humans root back to their Creator. He created us that way.
The Word of God is the supernatural milk that satisfies the spiritual thirst of all mankind. Only when a person accepts Jesus Christ as the Son of God, is that spirit born again with a new nature.
Jesus answered and said to him,
"Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God."
(John 3:3)
When the free will chooses to be a good actor, the LORD adopts him as a son of God. So go on and start the process. Jump into the waters of salvation. Accept Jesus Christ into your heart and allow your goodly nature to arise. That old sinful man will remain buried in the abyss and your born-again spirit will emerge as a new creature who is ready to love God Most High.
Embrace your adoption as a child of God. Say “Bye bye!” to Adam’s sinful nature. You’re in the Kingdom of God now.
Hallelujah!
