Breakfast: I was super hungry this morning; so I ate bowl of homemade cabbage soup. I felt 0 or ‘E’ for Empty.
Lunch: I finished eating and rated myself an ‘F’ for full. I ate a couple of bites more than I wanted. This past week my lunch has been more like a snack ! : 1 slice bread with 1oz chicken and .25 oz cheese. Today I had avocado instead of cheese. It was so delicious that I had a 2nd slice with the other half of the avocado. And, on the second one I added .25 oz cheese. DELICIOUS. Now I’m full. Since practicing mindfulness I have rated my hunger at ‘N’ for Neutral at the end of my lunch. I noticed that I went back and had a snack of a large, sweet peach. JUICY. I don’t want a peach today. In fact, I’m going to see how many hours I remain ‘F’. In fact, I’m a little U for Uncomfortable. I’m stuffed.
Dinner: I abandoned my Hunger Meter process and overate. I rated a FULL. I was not uncomfortable but very close.
I ate 6 oz salmon. No vegetables so I ate canned baked beans. Very sweet. Then I ate yogurt because I had no fresh fruit. I ate 1 slice bread with sliced turkey (4 slices) mayonnaise. Then I had ½ a Connie’s pizza. After wards I rated myself as S for Satisfied. I was so sleepy, I should have just gone to bed after my salmon. There are some issues I need to work through.
