October 22, 2018 – Monday
After my strong performance yesterday, I was plagued with late night snacking ! I saw with my eyes and lusted after those cookies. I was fine until I set my sights on those sugar and fat laden morsels. My husband (who does not have a weight issue) brings in lots of sweets. I found his stash and ate 4 chocolate chip cookies ! DELICIOUS, but Oh so BAD for me! See my article about Late Night Snacking.
How do I resist? When you have to cook for a family who may not need to watch every piece of sugar that pass their lips?
4 chocolate chip cookies last night. A late night snack that sent my blood sugar through the roof!
TODAY I’m back on track.
Breakfast 3oz rotisserie chicken. 1/2 avocado, .25 oz parmesan cheese.
Snack: 1 small clementine
Lunch:
3oz rotisserie chicken. 1/2 avocado, .25 oz parmesan cheese.
Dinner:
3oz rotisserie chicken. 1/2 avocado, .25 oz parmesan cheese.
1/2 cup raspberries with 1/4 cup of honey yogurt
Late Night Snack:
large peach.
My meals are a bit repetitive, but it works for me today. Meal preparation can become tedious. I was hungry and needed sustenance, not extravagance.
LORD Jesus, I have the victory. I want the victory. I am willing to renew my mind.
