Zion Is The Memorial for the Promised Holy Spirit

Songs of Zion

David, the king of Israel, captured
the Fortress of Zion and made it the capital over all Israel.

He called it, the “City of David.
There he created a spiritual fortress.

David brought the Ark of the Covenant to Zion where he set up a tent for spiritual worship
to the law of the LORD.

The Tabernacle of David included music and dance in his dwelling tent.

He focused on a clean heart and heeding the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Today Mt. Zion is a shrine of preserved stones. A citadel rises over the site keeping watch for the Messiah and His Spirit of the LORD.

Jeremiah 31

The Upper Room where Yeshua
gave His Last Supper is also memorialized there.

At His “Last Supper” Yeshua promised a New Covenant in His blood.

Below is the new covenant prophesied by Jeremiah. Yeshua fulfilled this covenant. He stated this at “The Last Supper”.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (Read more)

31 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
    I made with their ancestors

when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to them,”
declares the Lord.

33 “This is the covenant I will make
with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.

I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

A humble shepherd, David used his harp to calm king Saul’s soul. Whenever Saul was attacked by mental illness or demons, he called for David to play his lyre. Worship for David included music to break the spell of evil that gripped one’s soul. Fourteen generations later, His grandson, Yeshua haMashiach, would also be a shepherd. Yeshua would be The Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep.
